Ingredients

  • 1 medium-sized beetroot (peeled and chopped)
  • 1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup spinach leaves (washed)
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, for added sweetness)
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Ingredients:

  • Wash and peel the beetroot, then chop it into smaller pieces for easier blending.
  • Clean the berries and remove any stems.
  • Peel the ripe banana.

Assemble the Blender:

  • Place the chopped beetroot, mixed berries, banana, spinach leaves, Greek yogurt, and almond milk into a blender.

Blend Until Smooth:

  • Blend the ingredients on high speed until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency. If the smoothie is too thick, you can add more almond milk until you reach your desired texture.

Add Chia Seeds:

  • Toss in the chia seeds and blend for a few more seconds to incorporate them evenly into the mixture.

Adjust Sweetness (Optional):

  • Taste the smoothie and, if desired, add honey or maple syrup to sweeten. Blend again to combine.

Serve:

  • Pour the vibrant beet smoothie into glasses over ice cubes if preferred.
