Ingredients

  • 8 slider rolls
  • 1/2 pound about 225g ham, thinly sliced
  • 8 slices of your favorite cheese (such as Swiss or cheddar)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Sliced pickles (mayonnaise, or other condiments for serving)

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Prepare the Sliders: Slice the slider rolls in half horizontally, keeping them connected. Place the bottom half in a baking dish.
  • Layer the Ham and Cheese: Layer the thinly sliced ham evenly over the bottom half of the rolls. Top with slices of cheese.
  • Assemble the Sliders: Place the top half of the rolls over the ham and cheese to assemble the sliders.
  • Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Dijon mustard, honey, poppy seeds (if using), onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Drizzle the Sauce: Drizzle the prepared sauce evenly over the sliders, making sure to cover each one.
  • Bake: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the sliders are heated through.
  • Serve: Optionally, spread mayonnaise on the inside of the top half of the rolls and add sliced pickles. Place the tops on the sliders.
