Ingredients

  • 200 g about 7 oz of your favorite noodles (such as egg noodles or soba noodles)
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger (grated)
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds (optional)
  • Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Cook the Noodles:

  • Boil the noodles according to the package instructions until they are al dente.
  • Once cooked, drain and rinse the noodles under cold water to stop the cooking process.

Prepare the Sesame Sauce:

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the sesame oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, minced garlic, and grated ginger until well combined.

Combine Noodles and Sauce:

  • Toss the cooked and cooled noodles with the prepared sesame sauce until evenly coated.

Garnish and Serve:

  • Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds on top for added texture and flavor (optional).
